FOUNDRY

Foundry melts are complex and necessitate refractory materials for protection against molten iron and slag attack. Materials must withstand thermal, mechanical, chemical attacks, and high heat.
Typical lining materials used are based on combinations of aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, and carbon. A variety of additives are typically employed to enhance corrosion and oxidation resistance.

DRYMAX™

Dry vibratable castables designed with particle size distribution to reach maximum compaction without the addition of liquids. The grain size distribution is therefore key in obtaining a dense and strong dry vibratable,  which can be used soon after being installed.

VIBERMAX™

High alumina, ultra-low cement castables, containing silicon carbide for superior slag resistance.

LINTECAST ULC™

Ultra-low cement castables based on alumina, with the addition of silicon carbide to withstand slag attack.

ZYPCAST F™

ZIPCAST F  is designed with nano-bond technology. It is based on silicon carbide, white corundum, and carbon, to improve hot strength and corrosion resistance for faster dry-out.

J-RAM™

High alumina, pitch-free granular ramming enriched with SiC.
